Many legends surround Saint Nicholas. Known for his generosity, Lorraine’s patron saint is joyously celebrated: parades, fireworks, marches, processions, shows and more. As 6 December approaches, all of Lorraine celebrates!

Eagerly-awaited like Father Christmas, he’s been delighting both young and old for more than 450 years. Many legends surround the other white-bearded man in red, such as the one where he saved three lost children from the hands of a cruel butcher.
