Hanau Lake (18ha), in the heart of the Northern Vosges Nature Park, is a popular tourist site for visitors that admire the richness of its natural surroundings. Surrounded by greenery and an old medieval castle that reflects in its still waters, there is an hotel with a restaurant, a tea-room (discotheque in the evenings), a campsite, an information board, boats and pedal boats, a nature trail, picnic sites and numerous way-marked paths in the forest suitable for both walkers and for mountain bikers. On one side of the lake is a two star campsite (7ha), ideal for nature lovers.
