In a clearly agricultural environment, facing the vast Parroy forest, Parroy's pond is the largest in the department. It is an artificial water reservoir for the Marne-Rhine canal and indirectly for the Sânon and Meurthe rivers.The activities identified on the banks of the Parroy pond include the nautical activities of the sailing base (boats, windsurfing, pedal boats, etc.), hiking, fishing and hunting. The areas around the pond are dedicated to agriculture (dominant crops).
