An outstanding summer holiday destination, Gérardmer is also a great resort for winter sports. There’s everything in place to please both board sport enthusiasts and families looking to enjoy the snow with the little ones.

There are so many reasons to choose Gérardmer, the “Pearl of the Vosges”, for a pleasant family holiday: its beautiful lake, the numerous restaurants and accommodations, and the Mauselaine ski resort. And as a bonus, a snow shuttle links the centre of town with the ski slopes! As for board sports, there are around 20 downhill slopes (including the longest slope in the Vosges at 2,900 metres). The pistes are lit up from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. for night-time skiing and snowboarding with music. Even the slalom stadium (1,600 metres long with 330 vertical metres) is open to the public outside of competitions and training: the perfect opportunity to race against the clock like the pros!

The resort’s numerous activities include ski touring, snowshoeing, horseback riding, tobogganing, dog sledging, ice ruisseling, snow canyoning, ice climbing, ice karting, snowmobiling and even Nordic ski’fit: fitness sessions in the snow.

Our plus: 100 km of cross-country trails connects La Mauselaine to the resorts of Xonrupt and La Bresse.
