Montmedy citadel

The visit around the ramparts of Montmédy Citadel displays the incredible defensive fortifications carried out by Charles V and then modified over the centuries by Vauban and Raymond Séré de Rivières. The Fortification Museum traces the evolution of military architecture from Roman Gaul to the 18th century. The museum dedicated to the Meuse painter Jules Bastien-Lepage (1848-1884) has Braille resources, 3D paintings and models.
