The estate
of gerbeviller's chateau

The estate of Gerbéviller welcomes you in summer every week ends, or during great annual events. The Nymph (a decorated cave with monumental flight of steps, also with statues and seashell mosaics, from the 17th century), the Louis 13th detached house, the "en chambres" gardens (vegetable garden with its various “rooms”), the Palatinate Chapel, the viewpoint to Mortagne valley, are one of the most pleasant setting in this country. Located in the center of the Mortagne valley, the Chateau of Gerbéviller has one of the most beautiful landscaped park of France, designed around 1816 by Louis-Martin Berthault. Since 1737 this Chateau has belonged to family De Lambertye, and belongs now to family D'Arenberg. Nowadays, the Prince Charles D'arenberg still lives in this Chateau. That's why the free guided tour is only outside : the "en chambres" gardens and the 1900 garden (paying homage to the Nancy School). One map and a historical form will be given at the beginning of your tour.
