The forest is situated at 2.5 km at the south-west of Sarreguemines, has a surface of 308 ha, marked paths, healthy tour, playground and picnic areas. The Tourist Office organizes, in partnership with the club vosgien (Vosgian club) attended outings in the Buchholz forest in spring and summer (schedule available at the Tourist Office).
