Cornée de Ketzing 57810 RECHICOURT LE CHATEAU
The "cornée de Ketzing", between Réchicourt-le-Château and Gondrexange, is a Natura 2000 classified area. The Ketzing sector has several ponds or corneas of ponds, some of which are used for fish farming. These ponds have floating or rooted vegetation based on shiny pondweed, Eurasian water milfoil and white water lily. The ponds are surrounded by amphibious vegetation, megaphorbia, shrubby willow formations and hay meadows.
