By placing the artwork in its appropriate context, the museum recreates the ambience of this innovative time at the beginning of the 20th century. The greater part of the displayed pieces is unique and justly renowned, other exhibits have been widely reproduced and underline how the Ecole de Nancy bequeathed an ‘art for all’. The garden, restored in 1998, now blooms with plant species by two famous Nancy horticulturists, Félix Crousse and Victor Lemoine.
