Holiday from 145 €
From the restaurant, with its panoramic view, you can see the forest or a waterfall. There is even a park with fallow deer in it and, occasionally, a few inquisitive roe deer. The welcome here is as natural as it is friendly. Since 1903, each generation has worked to improve the level of amenities and service available. The fifth generation has now happily taken over the task. 8 non-rated studios and 22 bedrooms, some of them designed for family holidays and others for disabled guests, make up the hotel. Meals take advantage of the hotel’s trout pool and the game present in the surrounding environment since Valérie Pierre, the chef, is a keen hunter. For Alexandrine who manages the hotel, nothing is left to chance. There is a quality ambiance here thanks to the lounge with open fire, relaxation area on the first floor, a terrace and a sauna. In this popular tourist area, there are plenty of ideas for walks, rides or mountain biking. Motorcyclists can even taken advantage of the road books.
Cuisine
Regional, traditional and family: these are the three words that define Maître-Restaurateur Valérie Pierre’s dishes. She will happily cook a Venison Steak with Vosges Blueberries or a Goulash of Vosges Game. The spaetzle (dough quenelles) and tarts are homemade, as is the jam for breakfast and the copious breakfast buffet.
